Comments about Canon PIXMA IX6520 Inkjet Printer:
I got this one to replace an unreliable epson wide format printer. So far so good it prints fast and I don't get the annoying white streaks I got on my old one.

Nice, Inexpensive, Wide-Format Printer

Only complaint is that I have 3 different Canon printers, and all use different ink cartridges. Why doesn't Canon standardize on one design? They all look similar, but are ever so slightly different. Otherwise, I think Canon is the best. 1. All-in-one (MX870) 2. Photo (iP6700D),3. and this one, wide-format (IX6520).

I have had this printer for about a month and it is great. The quality of the product it puts out is 10+. I can't speak to the reliability of it since I haven't had it long. The on screen instructions are easy and it gives you all kinds of options with your printing. Great for Graphics, Photography, Charts, you name it. Finally, an outstanding large format printer at a reasonable price. Thank you, CANON!

Amazing, versatile printer!

I love this printer because it can print on a multitude of sizes and styles of paper...from the smallest thank you card envelop to a large poster size piece of paper. It never jams and the quality looks great!
Great Art Student Printer!

Compared to the Epson 1400, this Canon Pixma 6520 is a better printer. Can do all the same things (better) plus more. Tired of my Epson print head clogging up, this one has a removable print head. Plus with the Staples warranty, I'm worry free for two full years. Can't beat a deal like this.
Canon Business Printer

I was told by the sales person I should buy extra cartridges at the time because they are only partially filled. I have printed numerous photos and had no problem. I suggest save your money and a buy refill system.

About Me High-end Shopper
I am a graphic designer/art teacher as well as small business owner. In my studio, I have on hand 3 printers at a time with each one having their own purpose. My outdated HP wide format printer wouldn't work on my newer OS for Mac so I bought this one to replace it. So nice to use on all computers vs. just one. Here are the reasons I purchased this printer:1. This printer has a SMALL footprint compared to other wide format printers. It's also lightweight. I can't believe the people whining about how big it is?? Trust me. The footprint is small for a wide format.2. The top loading feature allows for thicker types of paper to be used WITHOUT curling the paper as it passes through comapred to the "U" shaped route of other printers loading from a bottom tray.3. The trays fold completely flat and it looks neat when not in use.4. The output tray is nicely stored INSIDE the machine so that it can't be knocked while on your workspace when not in use.5. It has CMYK tanks that can be individually replaced (or refilled).6. It was on SALE with a rebate.7. I saved an extra $50 for recycling the old cruddy HP printer. :)8. It's quiet and fast on the standard setting. 9. The resolution is fantastic! Even at lower settings.10. It has a standard plug...(I live in an old house and it doesn't require an adapter for the outlet AND fits right in a surge strip with bulky plugs next to it.)
